Previously, in 2022, Hana Financial Group had declared the goal of training 2,500 data specialists by 2025, named "2500 by 2025." With the graduation of the 3rd class of the "Hana DxP Program," the group has achieved this target ahead of schedule.
Hana Financial Group has now set a new goal, "3000 by 2027," to foster 3,000 data specialists who will lead the era of AI innovation by 2027, accelerating the development of future core talent.
The "Hana DxP Program" is Hana Financial Group's flagship data expert development program, designed to strengthen the decision-making, service, and marketing planning capabilities of key talent selected from its affiliates, based on financial data.
The 28 employees who completed the program this time finished both online and offline theoretical and practical training over about three months since the launch ceremony in September.
In particular, the 3rd class of the program focused not only on basic data analysis but also on cultivating convergent data experts who will lead the AI era. The trainees enhanced their comprehensive problem-solving skills required to become the group's core data talent by learning the latest AI tools, such as financial data analysis methodologies, data preprocessing and visualization, and Vibe Coding, as well as by participating in team projects.
Before the graduation ceremony, employees from a total of seven teams who participated in the 3rd class of the "Hana DxP Program" presented their projects by topic, with one team selected for the Grand Prize and two teams for the Excellence Award. The Grand Prize team was recognized for their project "Proposing a New Service by Predicting Seoul Villa Prices," while the Excellence Award teams were chosen for their presentations on "Predicting New SOHO Customer Loan Risk through Commercial District Analysis" and "Developing a Recommendation Model for Financial Products for Foreigners."
One graduate of the program stated, "It was a valuable experience to collaborate and engage in healthy competition with colleagues from other affiliates, allowing both myself and the group's employees to grow together. By directly utilizing the latest AI tools, I was able to efficiently conduct data analysis and develop practical data utilization skills applicable to my work through the project."
Youngju Ham, Chairman of Hana Financial Group, said, "The foundation of AI and digital is data, and going forward, AI and digital competitiveness will be the key factors determining the future of finance. We will spare no investment or support in nurturing data talent to provide customer-centric and field-oriented financial services that are easy and convenient."
