Kyungdong Navien Group’s NanoChem Launches ‘SafeOn Carbon Monoxide Detector Stand Type’ Ideal for Camping
Stand-Type Model with Foldable Hook
Easily Installable Even in Small Spaces Like Campsites and Tents
NanoChem, a precision electronics subsidiary of the Kyungdong Navien Group, announced on the 24th that it will launch the "SafeOn Carbon Monoxide Detector Stand Type," a product highly useful for outdoor environments such as camping.
The SafeOn Carbon Monoxide Detector Stand Type has received model approval (KC certification) from the Korea Fire Institute (KFI), which is responsible for certifying firefighting equipment, thereby ensuring its reliability. It is also designed to comply with the revised standards for model approval and product inspection of gas leak detectors that will take effect in 2026, allowing users to use it with confidence.
In particular, the product features a foldable hook on the back, enabling it to be either set up or hung in any desired space, making it suitable for use in campsites and tents where space is limited. The magnet on the back allows it to be freely attached to the inside of a car during car camping or to the side of a boiler.
The SafeOn Carbon Monoxide Detector utilizes an electrochemical sensor that responds only to carbon monoxide gas, providing excellent accuracy and low power consumption. It is designed to operate reliably year-round in most environments, withstanding temperatures from -10°C to 40°C and relative humidity up to 85% RH.
If the carbon monoxide level in the air remains at or above 55 PPM (0.0055%) for a certain period, the device alerts users to the danger with an alarm and flashing LED lamp. The front of the device is designed with a black background, making the LED lamp more visible when illuminated, and the case is made of PVC material to enhance flame resistance.

A NanoChem representative stated, "When using heating appliances in enclosed spaces such as during camping or car camping, it is important to ventilate regularly and install a carbon monoxide detector inside tents or vehicles to prevent accidents. We will strengthen our consumer sales with products that offer both convenience and technological excellence, including the SafeOn Carbon Monoxide Detector, and will also systematically expand our independent sales through agencies and specialized distributors to take the lead in promoting the distribution of safety products."
