Kia Delivers "PV5" to Welfare Centers and Social Enterprises Nationwide
As Part of the "Move & Connect" Social Contribution Initiative
On November 19, Kia announced that it had carried out its social contribution initiative, "Move & Connect," at the Blue Dream Center of Kkum Namu Village, a childcare facility in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul. Through this program, Kia is supporting welfare organizations and social enterprises nationwide by providing the "PV5."

For example, comprehensive welfare centers for people with disabilities primarily chose the WAV model to expand transportation services for people with disabilities, while general social welfare centers mainly applied for the cargo model to support care services such as meal delivery. This approach significantly increased the practical utility of the vehicles.
The model delivered to the childcare facility was the PV5 Passenger, which will be used for hospital accompaniment services to support children's health management. The PV5 Passenger features a low second-row step height of 399mm (measured from the ground to the second-row door step), making it easy for people of all ages to get in and out, and ensuring that children of all ages can board and disembark comfortably and safely.
Additionally, a meaningful opportunity was created for employees to embody the value of "connection" through their participation. Kia executives and employees, including Jung Wonjung, Vice President and Head of Domestic Business Division, volunteered to fully renovate a neglected area-left unused since the COVID-19 pandemic-into a children's traffic safety playground, transforming it into a space where kids can play and naturally learn about traffic safety.
