Deputy Governor Kim stated, "Even a single moment of complacency can lead to a large-scale outbreak," and emphasized, "Strictly implement initial measures such as movement restrictions, culling, application of quicklime on high-risk roads, and thorough disinfection inside and outside of barns. Ensure that the quarantine system is fully operational both at the farm and in surrounding areas."

Currently, Gyeonggi Province is operating a comprehensive response system, which includes: ▲ movement restrictions on 44 poultry farms (with a total of 3,778,557 birds) within a 10 km radius of the affected farm; ▲ intensive inspections and monitoring of farms within the quarantine zone and those with epidemiological links; ▲ full mobilization of disinfection vehicles for concentrated disinfection; ▲ operation of 37 base disinfection facilities and control posts; ▲ assignment of 374 dedicated personnel for focused monitoring; and ▲ 1:1 close management of high-risk areas by designating dedicated officers.

Deputy Governor Kim also stressed, "Speed and focus are critical in animal disease control," and added, "Since the effectiveness of disinfection may decrease in cold weather, farms must strictly adhere to quarantine guidelines on their own. Each city and county in the province should also ensure thorough operation of base disinfection facilities and inspections of farms as part of their disease control efforts."
