This year, Dankook University scored 80 points, placing second alongside Sungkyunkwan University, following Yonsei University, which ranked first. Dankook University has maintained a top-tier position for three consecutive years, rising one spot each year: fourth in 2023, third in 2024, and second this year.
In particular, Dankook University received high marks for earning the highest 'S grade' for two consecutive years in the University Innovation Support Project performance evaluation, overseen by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea. The university not only achieved top grades in 'educational innovation performance' but also received the highest ratings in all areas of 'internal performance management,' thereby strengthening its educational system to foster innovative and convergent talent based on creative thinking.
Dankook University has set its management goal as becoming a 'student-satisfying university' and is building a student-centered, future-oriented educational environment. To establish an AI learning environment, the university created the Department of Artificial Intelligence and the AI Convergence Research Institute, expanding software and AI education for all students to nurture talent with digital literacy and integrated problem-solving skills.
Additionally, Dankook University has made bold investments to improve the research and learning environment for students, including the creation of convergence and integrated learning spaces and group study zones, the expansion of various welfare facilities such as student cafeterias and sports areas, and the remodeling of lounges and rest areas, thereby significantly enhancing the overall learning and relaxation infrastructure.
President Ahn Sooncheol stated, "The fact that Dankook University has continued to rise in satisfaction rankings for three consecutive years is the result of the university's consistent efforts toward student satisfaction management," adding, "We will continue to pursue educational innovation that satisfies students, building a university that is trusted and loved."
