Yangju City Takes First Step Toward Building a 'Citizen-Centered' Civil Complaint Call Center

View original imageThe meeting was attended by more than 20 key department heads related to civil complaints, including Yangju Mayor Kang Suhyeon, as well as heads of various offices and bureaus. The agenda included a project initiation report, a Q&A session, and a collection of departmental opinions.
During the meeting, the service provider gave a detailed presentation on the two-month project plan, which includes an analysis of Yangju City's administrative services and civil complaint response status, a review of best practices, an evaluation of technologies such as AI counseling, chatbots, and speech-to-text (STT), and a phased system implementation strategy.
The participants engaged in in-depth discussions as they reviewed the project plan, aiming to identify the optimal call center model tailored to Yangju City's administrative environment and unique characteristics.
Yangju Mayor Kang Suhyeon stated, "We will create a civil complaint communication channel that can resolve citizens' inconveniences in a one-stop manner to provide the best possible service to our citizens," and requested, "Please establish a practical basic plan so that we can build a civil complaint call center optimized for Yangju City."
Based on the results of this project, Yangju City plans to actively pursue the construction of the civil complaint call center in 2026.
