Russian Foreign Ministry "Hopes for Visit by North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui This Year"
Andrey Rudenko, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, said he hopes that North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui will visit Russia within this year.
According to foreign media outlets such as TASS, Deputy Minister Rudenko stated at a briefing on the 19th (local time), "We are waiting for the visit of the North Korean Foreign Minister," and added, "We hope the visit will take place within this year."
Russian authorities, wary of the threat posed by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) drone attacks, significantly scaled down the military parade held on May 9. During this period, the anticipated visit to Russia by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un did not take place.
