Gyeongnam Information University is focusing its efforts on attracting international students by strengthening cooperation with local governments overseas, including Mongolia.
On November 12, Gyeongnam Information University announced that Governor Lkhagvadorj of Selenge Province, Mongolia, visited the university to discuss collaborative projects between the two institutions.
This visit was made possible thanks to the close exchanges between both parties. In August, President Kim Taesang visited Mongolia and signed an MOU with the Selenge provincial government regarding the recruitment of international students. Currently, 18 scholarship students, directly selected and supported by the Selenge provincial government, are studying at Gyeongnam Information University. Through this agreement, both sides have decided to send an additional 30 to 50 students from Selenge Province to the university every year.
