Over 170 people, including Chuncheon citizens and Hallim University students, attended, expressing their affection for singer Noh Sa-yeon and their keen interest in the "Citizen Intelligence Hallim Forum." Notably, this lecture drew special attention as it was conducted as a conversation between Noh Sa-yeon and Professor Noh Seungwook of the Dohun Academy.
Noh Sa-yeon began by saying, "It has been nearly 40 years since my debut, but I still consider myself young. I am striving to live the life of a 'Cheongeo' (a youthful adult)." She recalled, "A high school teacher who cherished me for my singing and ability to liven up the atmosphere appeared on a TV show several years ago and gave me the nickname 'Chuncheon IU'." She shared memories tied to Chuncheon, such as the bakeries she frequented and high school group dates. She added, "Chuncheon, where I spent my high school years, feels like my hometown. Thanks to the support of Chuncheon citizens, I have been able to continue my career as a healthy singer."
Noh Sa-yeon also talked about her hit songs such as "Meeting" and "Wish." She then delivered moving performances of "Wish" and "Meeting." During the Q&A session titled "Do you have a story? Noh Sa-yeon has one," she recommended her lesser-known song "Beginning" and discussed her vision for herself five years from now. The event concluded with Chuncheon citizens, accompanied by Professor Noh Seungwook on guitar, singing "Meeting" together as a tribute to Noh Sa-yeon, who has comforted the nation through this song.
Song Hogun, Director of the Dohun Academy at Hallim University, shared his thoughts: "Through Noh Sa-yeon's honesty and wit, we were able to glimpse her musical world and personal side. I hope the group performance of 'Meeting' by Chuncheon citizens created an unforgettable night for both Noh Sa-yeon and the people of Chuncheon."
