The Thousand-Won Breakfast program is a welfare initiative that provides a balanced breakfast for just 1,000 won to university students who often skip breakfast due to their busy academic schedules. NH Investment & Securities has actively participated in the Nongsim Cheonsim campaign led by the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation, supporting this campaign to raise awareness about the importance of eating breakfast.
National Agricultural Cooperative Federation group companies have been actively supporting the Nongsim Cheonsim campaign since August, when Chairman Kang Hodong of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation launched the initiative on the anniversary of its founding. Through the Thousand-Won Breakfast program, NH Investment & Securities aims to enhance various social values, including expanding the consumption of domestically produced rice, revitalizing the consumption of local agricultural products, and improving youth welfare.
On the same day, NH Investment & Securities also held a donation ceremony at Yeouido Parc One NH Financial Tower, delivering a 20 million won development fund for the Thousand-Won Breakfast program to the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST). The ceremony was attended by Byungwoon Yoon, CEO of NH Investment & Securities; Kiguel Lim, President of Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology; and Yonghwa Jung, Vice President for External Affairs.
