Lee Ho-jin, Former Taekwang Group Chairman, Appointed as Chairman of SaeHwa Arts and Culture Foundation
Two-Year Term, Unpaid and Non-Executive Position
SaeHwa Arts and Culture Foundation, operated by Taekwang Group, announced on November 7 that it held a board meeting and appointed Lee Ho-jin, former chairman of Taekwang Group, as its fifth chairman. The term is two years, and the position is unpaid and non-executive.
SaeHwa Arts and Culture Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2009 by Lee Sun-ae, the spouse of the late Taekwang Group founder Lee Im-yong. It operates the SaeHwa Museum of Art, located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Heungkuk Life Insurance Building in Gwanghwamun, Seoul. The foundation conducts various cultural and artistic projects, including hosting domestic and international art exhibitions and cultural exchange exhibitions, supporting artists' creative activities, and operating educational spaces for culture and the arts.

The newly appointed chairman, Lee, graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in economics, earned a master's degree in business administration from Cornell University in the United States, and completed doctoral coursework in economics at New York University. He currently serves as an advisor to Taekwang Industrial and as chairman of the board of Ilju SaeHwa Academy, which oversees SaeHwa High School, SaeHwa Girls' High School, and SaeHwa Girls' Middle School.
