Thirty Third-Year Students Pledge Their Commitment as Future Teachers
The Department of Early Childhood Education at Gyeongnam Information University, known as "the leading community college representing Busan," held a "Pledge Ceremony for Good Teachers" on campus on October 30. The event took place ahead of the third-year students' upcoming school field practice, and was attended by faculty members as well as first- and second-year students.

View original imageDuring the ceremony, 30 third-year students marched across the stage holding candles while a video expressing their determination as future teachers was shown on the screen. Through this, they pledged to grow into "good teachers."
The event continued in a warm and supportive atmosphere, featuring words of encouragement from the department's faculty and a celebratory performance prepared by first- and second-year students.
Kim Hyuna, the third-year student representative, said, "I am grateful for the heartfelt encouragement from our professors and juniors," and added, "Based on the knowledge and mindset I have gained over the past three years, I will become a good teacher with integrity and a warm heart."

Department Chair Kim Singon stated, "The Department of Early Childhood Education at Gyeongnam Information University received an A grade, ranking in the top 10% nationwide in the teacher training institution competency assessment, which has been recognized externally for the excellence of its curriculum. I hope that today's pledge will serve as a strong foundation for students' future careers as teachers, and that they will grow into professional educators who will lead the field of early childhood education in the future."
