Samsung Welstory to Serve Singapore's Famous "Song Fa Bak Kut Teh" at In-House Cafeterias
Song Fa Bak Kut Teh, Listed in the Singapore Michelin Guide for 8 Consecutive Years
Signature Set Featuring Kaya Toast, Soft-Boiled Eggs, and Nanyang Coffee
Samsung Welstory announced on November 6 that it has selected Singapore as the third country for its global restaurant collaboration, following Japan and China. For the first time in Korea, the company will offer menus from the renowned local eateries "Song Fa Bak Kut Teh" and "Toast Box" at its in-house cafeterias.
The global restaurant collaboration, which was first introduced in February, has so far featured menus from seven acclaimed international restaurants, including Ichiran Tonkotsu Ramen from Japan and Haidilao Mala Hotpot from China. These menus have been served to over 200,000 customers at more than 140 locations nationwide.

View original imageSong Fa Bak Kut Teh is a specialty restaurant that has been listed in the Singapore Michelin Guide for eight consecutive years and is considered a must-visit destination in Singapore. Bak kut teh, which means "meat bone tea," is a Singaporean national health food made by simmering pork bones, herbs, garlic, and pepper. Its taste is similar to Korea's galbitang, making it an accessible dish that anyone can enjoy regardless of preference.
Samsung Welstory has recreated the authentic flavor of bak kut teh by applying Song Fa Bak Kut Teh's signature broth recipe. To provide an experience akin to visiting an actual Singaporean restaurant, the company will also serve side dishes that pair well with bak kut teh, such as morning glory (stir-fried water spinach), pai huang gua (Chinese-style cucumber salad), and youtiao (Chinese-style fried dough).
Unlike previous collaborations, which focused solely on main meal offerings, the Singapore edition of the global restaurant collaboration will also introduce convenient light meal options for customers to enjoy more casually.
At the cafeteria's light meal corner, customers will find the signature set menu from Toast Box, Singapore's iconic kaya toast chain. The set includes kaya toast, soft-boiled eggs, and three varieties of traditional Nanyang coffee from Southeast Asia. This menu is, in fact, the most popular breakfast choice among locals in Singapore.
