VC Association Training Institute to Hold Global Venture Investment Practical Course
Focusing on Real Investment Cases in the US and Singapore
Practical Training on Procedures, Legal, Accounting, and Tax Matters for Overseas Investments
The Korea Venture Capital Training Institute, affiliated with the Korea Venture Capital Association (VC Association), announced on November 5 that it will hold the "2025 Global Venture Investment Practical Course Part I" on December 3-4 to strengthen the global venture investment capabilities of the VC industry.
The entire course is open to professionals in the VC and financial industries, as well as the general public, and will be conducted in person. The program is designed to focus on practical work, centering on real-life cases, and will cover overseas investment contract procedures and related practices through analysis of the VC markets in the United States and Singapore.
Specific topics include the structure of overseas investment contracts such as Stock Purchase Agreements (SPA) actually used in the US and Singapore markets, legal regulations related to technology protection and exit for foreign investors, and comparisons of global accounting standards, all based on practical case studies. In addition, the course will analyze differences in national tax laws, such as US taxation rules and Singapore's investment incentive systems, and provide strategies for Korean venture investors to respond to legal and tax risks when expanding overseas.
Jung Jiyeong, Deputy Director of the Korea Venture Capital Training Institute, stated, "As Korea's venture ecosystem is rapidly growing, hands-on experience and risk management capabilities on the global stage have become increasingly important. Following this course, we also plan to offer an expanded program covering Europe and Japan in February next year."

Applications for this training course will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the institute's website until November 19.
