The participating students attended an academic conference at the Nippon Veterinary and Life Science University, where they observed themed sessions and examined the latest research trends. They also broadened their international outlook by interacting with overseas experts and researchers.
They visited the Animal Medical Center affiliated with the Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Tokyo to directly observe advanced animal medical systems and clinical infrastructure. In addition, through a meeting with local veterinarians and emergency medical staff, they shared various clinical cases and learned about the operational systems of medical sites.
The participating students said, "By experiencing Japan's animal health environment firsthand, we were able to reflect on the direction of companion animal medical development in Korea," adding, "We hope that these opportunities for international exchange will continue."
