Strengthening Nighttime Safety for Residents
Jinhae-gu, Changwon Special City, Gyeongsangnam-do conducted an enforcement operation targeting commercial passenger and freight vehicles that were parked overnight outside of designated garages.
The enforcement, which took place on November 1, focused on back roads and residential areas in Jaeun-dong, resulting in the identification of numerous commercial vehicles that caused inconvenience and posed risks to residents.
Kim Jeongmi, Director of the Economic and Transportation Division, stated, "When large vehicles such as freight trucks and chartered buses are parked overnight in places like roadsides instead of their designated garages, traffic accidents may occur and morning rush hour congestion can be caused.
