The "Autism Race," which Hana Financial Group has officially sponsored for six consecutive years since 2020, is a running campaign organized by the Korea Autism Association. The event is designed to enhance understanding of autism spectrum disorder and foster an inclusive society.
On the day of the campaign, more than 300 employees and their family members, including Eunhyung Lee, Vice Chairman of Hana Financial Group, voluntarily participated. They ran and communicated together to raise awareness of autism spectrum disorder. The participation fees collected from employees were fully donated to the Korea Autism Association, contributing to the spread of a culture of sharing.
Vice Chairman Eunhyung Lee stated, "It is deeply meaningful to take part in this initiative to enhance understanding and empathy for autism spectrum disorder and to move toward a society that respects diversity. We will continue to actively support and show interest in building an inclusive society where we grow together and share happiness with various members of society."
In September, Hana Financial Group signed an agreement with the Korea Autism Association and has since implemented various initiatives to help individuals with autism spectrum disorder become healthy and independent members of society. These initiatives include supporting job creation for young people with autism, providing customized trust services for safe financial management, supporting cultural and artistic activities for artists with autism, and sponsoring awareness campaigns for people with disabilities.
