The award-winning "National Road No. 1 Tree-lined Path" is a tree-lined path that the city developed in stages along an approximately 14.5 km section from Pyeongtaek Nambu Cultural Center Intersection to Ojwa Intersection to create a pleasant street environment.
The city explained that it was highly evaluated for creating a pleasant green landscape, despite being located in a high-traffic urban area, through improvements to the tree growth environment, maintenance of green belts, expansion of planting on traffic islands, and enhancement of irrigation systems.
