Ga Bin Choi, now in her fourth year as a professional, has seized her first chance at victory.
On October 30, at Elysian Jeju in Seogwipo, Jeju Island (par 72, 6,816 yards), during the first round of the S-OIL Championship on the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour, which has a total prize fund of 1 billion won, she carded seven birdies without a single bogey. With a 7-under-par 65, she took the lead. Kim Suji is in second place with a 6-under-par 66, while five players-Lee Dayeon, Jang Suyeon, Han Jiweon, Moon Jeongmin, and Lee Jihyun 3-are tied for third at 5-under-par 67, chasing closely behind.

Although Choi debuted on the KLPGA Tour in 2022, she has yet to claim a victory. Her best result so far is a tie for fourth at the KG Ladies Open in September 2023. This year, she has competed in 29 tournaments and finished in the top 10 three times. She currently ranks 43rd on the money list with 253,753,199 won.
