Professor Choi Jin-sil of National Hanbat University Receives 'Young Materials Chemist Award' from Korean Chemical Society
National Hanbat University announced on October 29 that Professor Choi Jin-sil from the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering recently received the 'Young Materials Chemist Award' at the 'Korean Chemical Society Conference and General Meeting' held at the Changwon Convention Center.

View original imageThe Young Materials Chemist Award is an academic honor established by the Materials Chemistry Division of the Korean Chemical Society. It is presented to materials chemists under the age of 45 who have achieved outstanding research accomplishments, with the aim of discovering and encouraging young researchers and boosting their motivation for research.
Professor Choi has distinguished herself in the design and synthesis of nanomaterials and their diverse applications. In particular, she was recognized for her original approach to controlling the catalytic activation of nanozymes for use in sensors and environmental remediation, as well as her contributions to medical and separation technologies through the precise control of magnetic nanoparticles, which led to her being selected as an award recipient.
