Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance announced on the 29th that it has completed the selection of teams to carry out the "Imaeum Explorers" project.
The "Imaeum Explorers" project began with the question, "How can we innovatively solve children's developmental issues?" The initiative seeks early intervention solutions for children with developmental delays and developmental disabilities. A total of 304 teams applied for the "Imaeum Explorers" contest, which was held in two rounds starting in June. Of these, 31 teams were selected to advance to the "SPACE 0" stage.

This broad representation is expected to yield meaningful results in identifying early intervention solutions from a wide range of perspectives.
Many of the chosen teams utilize artificial intelligence (AI) technology for the early diagnosis and tailored intervention of children with developmental delays and developmental disabilities. Sustainable intervention models based on parent-child interaction, as well as social adaptation support for premature and multicultural children, also drew attention.
The selected teams will receive a prize of 5 million won and will participate in the "SPACE 0" stage for about two months. During this phase, they will develop advanced implementation plans and undergo in-depth interviews, after which 12 teams will advance to the next phase, "SPACE 1." These teams will receive an additional prize of 100 million won. Over a six-month period, they will validate early intervention solutions for children with developmental delays and developmental disabilities.
