NextTrade Expands Number of Securities Firms Participating in All Markets to 31
Alternative Trading System (ATS) NextTrade announced on October 22 that the number of securities firms participating in all its markets (Pre-Market, Main Market, and After-Market) will be expanded from the current 19 to 31 firms starting October 27.
Nine firms-including Daol Investment & Securities, BNK Investment & Securities, Bookook Securities, Shinyoung Securities, IBK Investment & Securities, iM Securities, Kakao Pay Securities, Cape Investment & Securities, and Hanyang Securities-which had previously only participated in the Pre-Market and After-Market, will now also participate in Main Market trading.
Additionally, three firms-Sangsangin Securities, Leading Investment & Securities, and Heungkuk Securities-will newly join NextTrade and participate in trading across all markets.
Previously, when NextTrade was launched on March 4, it temporarily allowed securities firms to participate only in the Pre-Market and After-Market, taking into account their preparation period. Since then, it has gradually transitioned to full market participation. Going forward, new members of NextTrade will not be allowed to participate in only part of the markets; full participation in all markets will be mandatory.
