Commemorating the 46th World White Cane Safety Day
The Social Service Group of the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service (Chairman Park Jonggil) received a commendation from the Mayor of Ulsan for its contributions to the promotion of welfare for the visually impaired at the 46th World White Cane Safety Day Commemorative Event for the Promotion of Welfare for the Visually Impaired.
This event, held at Ulsan City Hall on the 21st, was organized by the Ulsan Association for the Welfare of the Visually Impaired. It was designed to raise awareness of independence and rehabilitation among the visually impaired and to share the social responsibility for improving welfare for people with disabilities.
The Social Service Group has been dedicated to enhancing the welfare of the visually impaired by consistently engaging in social contribution activities, such as delivering lunch boxes to vulnerable households with visually impaired members through the Ulsan Welfare Center for the Visually Impaired, volunteering for dishwashing, and providing holiday donations.

Park Jonggil, Chairman of the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service, stated, "It is very meaningful that the social contribution activities of the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service have been recognized by the local community at this significant event commemorating World White Cane Safety Day," adding, "We will continue to carry out various social contribution activities to protect the rights and improve the welfare of the socially disadvantaged."
