Coupang Selected as Official Sponsor of the "APEC Summit and CEO Summit"
50 Million Packages Featuring APEC Support Messages Delivered Nationwide
Coupang announced on October 21 that it has been selected as the official promotional partner of the "2025 APEC Summit" and the official sponsor of the "APEC CEO Summit."
The "2025 APEC Summit," which will be held in Gyeongju from October 31 to November 1, is the largest economic cooperation event in the Asia-Pacific region to be hosted by South Korea in 20 years since it was last held in Busan in 2005. Leaders from 21 member economies, including South Korea, the United States, and Japan, will gather in one place to discuss key topics such as trade and investment liberalization, innovation and the digital economy, and inclusive and sustainable growth. The event is expected to significantly enhance South Korea's diplomatic standing and generate substantial economic ripple effects.
To help ensure the successful hosting of the event, Coupang is contributing to a nationwide show of support by using 50 million Rocket Delivery packaging materials featuring messages wishing for the success of APEC. The company has produced 50 million boxes and plastic packaging materials with supportive messages, and has been using them in Rocket Delivery shipments nationwide since the beginning of this month. Through this initiative, it is expected that people across the country will naturally reflect on the significance of APEC 2025 and join in supporting the successful hosting of the summit in South Korea.
