Yangju City to Conduct 2025 Population and Housing Census Until November 18
Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province will conduct the '2025 Population and Housing Census' from October 22, starting with online and telephone surveys, until November 18.
The Population and Housing Census is a national statistical survey based on the previous year's Household and Housing Basic Survey data. It is a large-scale survey that identifies the total number, structure, distribution, and individual characteristics of the population, households, and housing. The collected data serves as a crucial foundation for establishing and evaluating various national policies.
This census will select a sample of 20% of households, including both Korean and foreign residents living in Yangju City as of the reference date (midnight, November 1, 2025), and will survey 42 items.
From October 22 to 31, residents can voluntarily participate in the non-face-to-face survey via the internet or telephone. For those who do not participate during this period, surveyors will conduct on-site surveys using tablet PCs from November 1 to 18.
Additionally, non-face-to-face surveys through the internet (census.go.kr) and call center will continue to be available.
