View original imageOn October 17, the International Crown tournament organizing committee announced, "Jutanugarn has withdrawn due to injury, and Jasmin Suwannapoom (Thailand) will take her place." Suwannapoom debuted on the LPGA Tour in 2012 and has recorded three career victories. She is currently ranked 138th in the world.

The International Crown is a women's golf team competition between nations. Eight teams representing 11 countries-including South Korea, the United States, Japan, China, Thailand, Sweden, Australia, and the World Team-will compete. The South Korean team consists of Kim Hyojoo, Yoo Haeran, Ko Jin-young, and Choi Hyejin. South Korea won the third edition of the tournament, held in Incheon in 2018. This year marks the fifth edition of the event, which will take place at Korea Country Club in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, starting on October 23.
