Goyang Special City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Donghwan) announced on October 16 that it had signed a business agreement with Green Umbrella (Chairman Hwang Younggi) on October 15 at the city hall’s open mayor’s office to cooperate on wetland ecosystem conservation and social contribution for future generations.

View original imageUnder this agreement, the two organizations pledged to cooperate on a range of initiatives focused on the Ramsar Goyang Janghang Wetland, including: joint promotional and social contribution activities for wetland ecosystem conservation; discovering corporate sponsors and planning and operating eco-friendly programs; and other matters to enhance mutual cooperation, all aimed at promoting environmental, social, and transparent management (ESG) and expanding the vision of Goyang’s eco-friendly urban model (G-Economics).
Chairman Hwang Younggi stated, “Environmental conservation for future generations is a core value of Green Umbrella’s social contribution,” adding, “We will take the lead in spreading a sustainable ecological culture together with Goyang City.”
