Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Kwangdeok) announced that, in response to the suspension of the Gukmin Sinmungo system following a fire at the National Information Resources Service on September 26, it has set up a temporary civil complaint reception desk on the city’s website to reduce inconvenience for residents. To further reduce any gaps in civil administration, an online complaint reception desk has now been added to the website.
Residents can submit complaints after identity verification by selecting 'Comprehensive Civil Complaints → Submit Complaint → Temporary Complaint Submission (Gukmin Sinmungo Alternative)' from the menu at the top of the website.
Through the operation of the temporary desk, the city aims to minimize inconvenience for residents and to provide stable administrative services by maintaining a multi-channel complaint reception and processing system-including online, in-person, and mail-even during disaster situations.
