On Wednesday, the 15th, the entire country is expected to be mostly cloudy with rain. Rain, which will begin in the Jeonnam region in the morning, is forecast to expand to the Chungcheong region and other southern areas in the afternoon, and then to the Seoul metropolitan area and inland Gangwon at night, continuing into the following day.
The expected rainfall over the two days until the 16th is 20 to 60 mm for eastern Gangwon, Jeonnam, and central to northern Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk; 10 to 60 mm for Jeju Island; 10 to 50 mm for southern Gyeonggi, the five West Sea islands, Chungcheong, and Jeonbuk; and 10 to 40 mm for Seoul, Incheon, northern Gyeonggi, inland Gangwon, Daegu, and southern Gyeongbuk.
The Korea Meteorological Administration advised caution, as frequent rain has weakened the ground in the eastern Gangwon area and continued rainfall may cause landslides and soil runoff.
Morning lows are forecast to range from 12 to 20 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs between 20 and 26 degrees Celsius.
Fine dust levels are expected to remain at a 'good' level nationwide.
Wave heights at sea are expected to be 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the South Sea.
For offshore waters (within approximately 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are predicted to be 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the South Sea.
