Bucheon City to Conduct Special Inspection of Construction Sites Over 5,000㎡ to Prevent Poor Construction and Safety Accidents
Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province will conduct a special inspection of construction sites subject to on-site supervision from October 20 to November 3 to prevent poor construction practices and safety accidents.
The inspection will target construction sites with a floor area of 5,000 square meters or more, construction of quasi-multi-use buildings, and apartment construction sites. The city will form an inspection team consisting of experts in the construction field and relevant public officials to closely examine the status of on-site supervision.
The main focus of the inspection will be to comprehensively check the adequacy of on-site personnel and required documents, the preparation of construction supervision reports and the performance of supervision duties, as well as the overall quality and safety management of construction sites outside the scope of supervision.
This inspection will cover sites that were excluded from the on-site supervision inspection conducted in the first half of May, and is being carried out in accordance with the policy of inspecting medium- and large-scale construction sites in the region at least once a year.
