Deepnoid Partners with SG Healthcare to Enter Uzbekistan Market
Kicking Off Global Medical AI Market Expansion, Starting with Central Asia
"DEEP:CHEST" Integrated into SG Healthcare's Export X-ray Equipment
Deepnoid, a leading first-generation medical AI company in Korea, announced on October 14 that it will target the global medical AI market through a strategic collaboration with SG Healthcare, a company specializing in medical imaging devices.
Recently, Deepnoid signed a supply contract with SG Healthcare for its real-time multi-pulmonary disease detection and diagnostic support solution, "DEEP:CHEST." The contract covers a total of 68 units to be provided in an on-premise format. These solutions will be integrated into X-ray equipment that SG Healthcare supplies to overseas markets such as Uzbekistan. With this agreement, the two companies plan to establish a strategic partnership in the global medical market.
By combining SG Healthcare's hardware and image quality enhancement AI with Deepnoid's interpretation AI and report generation AI, a vertically integrated "end-to-end" package can be realized, covering image acquisition, pre-processing, interpretation, and report generation. The two companies have agreed to gradually expand the scope of their strategic cooperation to include the development of "equipment-software integrated packages" and joint entry into overseas projects.
SG Healthcare is the only domestic medical imaging device company with a full product lineup. It supplies products through 136 distribution channels in 81 countries worldwide, enhancing the reputation of Korean medical devices on the global stage. In the field of AI software, it has secured world-class "AI noise-canceling" technology, enabling proactive responses to market changes and demands. Through this strategic partnership with Deepnoid, the two companies will combine their unique technological capabilities to further strengthen their global market presence.
Kim Jeongsoo, CEO of SG Healthcare, stated, "Our collaboration with Deepnoid is an important first step in combining the strengths of Korean medical devices and AI technology to enhance global market competitiveness. We will continue to strengthen the international standing of Korean medical AI technology through various partnerships in the future."
Choi Woosik, CEO of Deepnoid, explained, "This collaboration is more than just a supply contract; I see it as the starting point for enhancing the global competitiveness of Korean medical devices." He added, "I am confident that by combining SG Healthcare's hardware expertise with Deepnoid's AI interpretation software capabilities, we can deliver new value to the global medical field."
