Buan County to Hold "Buan County Nongak Troupe Regular Performance" on the 17th

Buan County in North Jeolla Province will hold the "2025 Buan County Nongak Troupe Regular Performance" at 6:30 p.m. on October 17 at the performance hall on the second floor of the Buan Arts Center.
According to the county on October 13, this performance is themed "Gopunggamlai," which means "Joy Comes with the Sound of Drums and Music." It will showcase the artistry and skills that the Buan County Nongak Troupe has honed over the past year.
The Buan County Nongak Troupe, founded in 2016, has continued to carry on the tradition of Buan Nongak, widely promoting the value of this representative local cultural heritage. The troupe has achieved remarkable results nationwide, including winning the grand prize at the Imbangul Gugak Festival National Competition and awards in the Nongak category at the Jeonju Daesaseupnori, and remains highly active.
This regular performance will feature 32 troupe members, presenting a variety of traditional performances such as Buan Nongak Pangut and solo acts, which embody the unique excitement, style, and communal spirit of Buan Nongak. The event is expected to bring abundance and joy to local residents and visitors alike.
