Mokdong The Sharp Recheville Wins Grand Prize at Daejeon Beautiful Garden Contest
Gold Prize Awarded to Cafe Jera (Private) and Central Park Complex 2 (Apartment Complex)
Mokdong The Sharp Recheville won the Grand Prize at the 1st Daejeon Beautiful Garden Contest, an event launched by Daejeon City to discover beautiful gardens, promote garden culture in daily life, and foster new tourism resources for the city.
The contest was held in two categories: private gardens and apartment complex gardens. A total of 15 gardens were submitted. After the first round of document screening and a second round of on-site evaluation, one Grand Prize, two Gold Prizes, two Silver Prizes, and two Bronze Prizes were ultimately selected.
The award-winning gardens are as follows: Grand Prize - Mokdong The Sharp Recheville (apartment complex); Gold Prize - Cafe Jera (private), Central Park Complex 2 (apartment complex); Silver Prize - Daisy 136 (private), Daedeok Technovalley Complex 12 (apartment complex); Bronze Prize - As Shown in the Picture (private), Boksu Chorok Maeul Recheville (apartment complex).
Winners will receive a certificate and a plaque. In addition, various incentives will be provided, such as seasonal flower seedlings, support for private garden registration, and media promotion.
Park Youngcheol, Director of the Greenery and Agricultural Life Bureau, said, "Through this contest, we have laid the foundation for the spread of a garden culture created together by citizens," adding, "We will continue to actively support the expansion of beautiful gardens throughout Daejeon City."

Meanwhile, the award-winning gardens will be showcased in a garden photo exhibition at the 2025 Daejeon Garden Expo, which will be held at Expo Citizen Plaza from October 24 to 26. All citizens are welcome to visit and appreciate the beauty of the winning gardens.
