The Samcheok Tourism and Culture Foundation of Gangwon Province will hold a Chuseok holiday survey event for visitors to the Isabu Dokdo Memorial Hall from October 4 to October 8.
This event is organized to express gratitude for the interest and support shown toward the projects carried out in the first half of the year and the Isabu Dokdo Memorial Hall, as well as to gather citizens' opinions for the development of Samcheok City's culture, arts, and tourism industry.
In addition, to celebrate Hangul Day on October 9 and to inspire historical pride among the Korean people and encourage family visits, an experiential program introducing the history and significance of Hangul will be offered.
This experience program will be available for one day only, on October 2, with advance applications accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for up to six participants per session. On Hangul Day, priority participation will be given to visitors holding a facility admission ticket.

A foundation official stated, "We hope that, during the national holiday of Chuseok, visitors to the Isabu Dokdo Memorial Hall, a landmark of Samcheok, will enjoy a harmonious time with their families and gain educational opportunities to deepen their understanding of history and culture. We also expect this to become a venue for communication and empathy across generations."
