The Global Marketing Office of Gangwon Tourism Organization (CEO Choi Sunghyun) announced on October 2 that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on October 1 with the Department of German Language and Literature at Gangwon National University to foster global tourism professionals.

View original imageThis agreement was promoted to expand the university network of the Global Marketing Office of Gangwon Tourism Organization and to strengthen the global promotional competitiveness of Gangwon tourism. The goal is to create synergy by combining the language and cultural expertise of the Department of German Language and Literature, one of Gangwon National University's leading humanities majors.
Through this agreement, the two organizations have agreed to strengthen cooperation in five key areas: △promotional collaboration to attract German-speaking tourists, △joint research and implementation of global marketing, △provision of field training and internship opportunities for students, △operation of academic and educational exchange programs, and △promotion of other mutually cooperative projects.
