Musinsa Signs Partnership with Cosmax: "Joint Development of New Beauty Products"
Aiming to Strengthen Product Competitiveness
of Brands Like ODDTYPE and WHIZZY
On September 25, Musinsa announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Cosmax, a global cosmetics ODM (Original Development Manufacturing) company, to promote the development of its own private label (PB) products.

View original imageRecently, Musinsa held a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signing ceremony for a strategic partnership with Cosmax at its headquarters in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. The agreement aims to strengthen the expertise of Musinsa Beauty's private label brands, including ODDTYPE, WHIZZY, MUSINSA STANDARD BEAUTY, and Rest&Recreation Beauty.
This partnership is intended to enhance the competitiveness of Musinsa's beauty products by combining Musinsa's brand planning capabilities with Cosmax's research and development (R&D) and manufacturing expertise. Moving forward, the two companies plan to collaborate in various ways, including joint development of new raw materials, cooperation in developing new technologies and formulations for new products, and jointly carrying out production projects for Musinsa Beauty brands at Cosmax China.
Through this collaboration, Musinsa plans to develop a new whitening functional ingredient using Cosmax's proprietary "White Plusome" technology and launch new products for its Musinsa Beauty private label brands.
