LG CNS is pursuing a two-track strategy to secure talent by expanding industry-academic cooperation and recruiting new employees.
On the 25th, LG CNS announced that it has signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement with the Department of Computer Science at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). This follows an agreement made in April with the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at KAIST, further broadening the scope of academic collaboration.

View original imageAccording to LG CNS, the Department of Computer Science conducts research in fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and humanoids, making it possible to foster convergent talent that combines technological research with industrial expertise.
Through this agreement, LG CNS will select industry-academic scholarship students from the master's program in the Department of Computer Science. Selected students will receive full tuition support for two years, along with a monthly living stipend, and those who obtain a master's degree will be guaranteed employment at LG CNS. Additional research support funds will also be provided to assist the research activities of students in the Department of Computer Science.
LG CNS has been expanding industry-academic cooperation with major universities in Korea, including KAIST. The company has established and is operating recruitment-linked contract departments at Yonsei University, Korea University, and Chung-Ang University, and has also signed agreements with the Department of Industrial Engineering and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Seoul National University to select industry-academic scholarship students.
The company is also actively recruiting new employees. From the 1st to the 18th of this month, LG CNS accepted applications for new hires for the second half of the year. In this recruitment drive, LG CNS is hiring new employees in a total of nine fields: AI, robotics, cloud application management, DX engineering, smart factories, smart logistics, ERP, consulting, and architecture.
Since May, the company has also been recruiting experienced professionals across 11 AI-related positions.

An LG CNS representative stated, "This industry-academic cooperation with KAIST is significant in that it has further expanded the foundation for early discovery and development of future talent," adding, "We will continue to foster and secure key talent to lead the AI transformation (AX) field, with industry-academic cooperation and recruitment as our two main pillars."
