Ethics Committee to Be Elevated to Ethics Tribunal
On September 18, the Cho Kuk Innovation Party announced that it would establish an Ethics Inspection Team in response to incidents of sexual misconduct within the party and elevate the Ethics Committee to the Ethics Tribunal.

View original imageAt the Emergency Response Committee meeting held at the National Assembly that day, Emergency Response Committee Chairman Cho Kuk unveiled these reform measures, stating, "We will thoroughly repair the party from its foundation to its pillars, rafters, and roof."
He explained, "The Ethics Inspection Team will serve as the party's own Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials. It will function as an inspection body that implements broad preventive measures and strict follow-up actions."
He added, "We will elevate the Ethics Committee to the Ethics Tribunal to strengthen its independence and enforcement power," and stated, "We will also establish a Grievance Counseling Center and a Grievance Review Committee."
