Chilgok County Council Members' Research Group Holds Final Report Meeting for Research Project

The Chilgok County Fiscal Analysis and Diagnosis Research Group, consisting of six members of the Chilgok County Council including Representative Assemblyman Oh Yongman, recently held the final report meeting for a research project on the analysis and diagnosis of Chilgok County’s fiscal management and measures to enhance fiscal efficiency.

Kim Yongseok, a former six-term assemblyman and Ph.D. in public administration, served as the lead researcher for the project. Over the past four months, he has completed a comprehensive analysis of Chilgok County’s fiscal management, reporting on measures to ensure fiscal soundness, strengthen the council’s fiscal oversight functions, and various policy proposals.

Representative Assemblyman Oh Yongman stated, “It was a meaningful time to discuss the issues and future direction of Chilgok County’s fiscal status,” and added, “We will actively reflect the outcomes in the 2026 main budget review and faithfully fulfill our role as a watchdog to ensure sound fiscal management for Chilgok County.”
