Black Fur Coat, Leather Gloves... Attention on Her Changing Fashion

"The most powerful and dangerous girl in the world."

Foreign media have described Kim Juae, the daughter of Kim Jong Un, Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of North Korea, as she accompanied her father on his visit to China, drawing intense international attention. There is growing speculation that Chairman Kim brought his daughter along with succession or a fourth-generation hereditary transfer in mind, further fueling foreign media interest in Kim Juae.

On September 5 (local time), The Telegraph in the United Kingdom published an article titled "Is this the most dangerous 12-year-old in the world?" offering an in-depth analysis of Kim Juae. The outlet pointed out, "Kim Juae is the only child of the North Korean leader to be publicly revealed and is considered a strong candidate as his successor," adding, "If she becomes the next leader of the nuclear-armed, isolated state, she will be the most powerful and dangerous girl in the world."

The media also highlighted changes in Kim Juae's appearance and attire. In contrast to her youthful look in a white padded jacket when she first appeared in public in 2022, she has since projected a much stronger image, wearing items such as a black fur coat and leather gloves, which the article described as giving off an "almost villainous aura." Last year, she even attended an event wearing a see-through outfit typically worn by adult women, leading to assessments that this was a case of "deliberate image management." Kim Juae is currently estimated to be 12 or 13 years old.

On September 2, Chairman Kim visited Beijing to attend the 80th anniversary of China's Victory Day, and it has been confirmed that his daughter accompanied him on this trip. However, Kim Juae did not appear at any official events. The National Intelligence Service stated, "We have determined that Chairman Kim was accompanied by his daughter Juae during this visit to China," adding, "We are closely monitoring related developments." This marks the first time Kim Juae has accompanied her father on an official overseas schedule, leading to speculation that this may be a political signal related to the succession structure.
