Kyungnam University Job Plus Center to Host Job Festival for Local Youth
On September 9, in partnership with the Gyeongnam Employers Federation
Diverse booths including Job Zone, Experience Zone, and Promotion Zone
The University Job Plus Center at Kyungnam University’s Talent Development Office will host the "2025 University Job Plus Center & Youth Growth Project JOB Festival (GuguCon)" on September 9 at 1:00 p.m. in the lobby and Peace Hall on the first floor of the Chango Building.
This job festival, held under the name "September Job Search Concert," is designed to allow university students and local youth to actively participate in exploring career paths and to gain practical employment information through a variety of hands-on experiences. The event is jointly organized by the University Job Plus Center at Kyungnam University and the Gyeongnam Employers Federation.
The festival will feature a total of 25 booths, including: ▲ Job mentoring sessions with HR managers from companies such as BNK Kyongnam Bank and Korea Electric Power Corporation (Job Zone) ▲ Employment-related programs such as personal color and image consulting, and interview makeup experiences (Experience Zone) ▲ Promotional booths from related organizations such as the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Employers Federation, and the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Promotion Zone).
Participants can use "GuguCon Tickets" to visit each booth and complete various missions. Those who complete more than five missions will receive a food truck snack coupon and have the opportunity to participate in the "Try That Job!" prize event. Prizes include a Galaxy Tab, wireless earphones, department store gift certificates, and more.

Park Taehyun, head of the University Job Plus Center, stated, "GuguCon is a new initiative that expands upon existing job festivals, allowing students to participate more proactively," adding, "We hope this will be a meaningful experience for many students."
