Team Sparta announced on the 4th that it has been selected as a '2025 Pre-Unicorn' company by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
The Pre-Unicorn program is a system that discovers and supports startups with high growth potential by evaluating factors such as revenue growth, job creation, and investment attraction capabilities.
Team Sparta explained that it received high marks for its achievements in IT and artificial intelligence (AI) education, its potential for global expansion, its structure that connects talent development with deployment in the industry, and its social contribution activities that have strengthened national industrial competitiveness and expanded youth employment.

View original imageTeam Sparta, which boasts the largest government-funded online bootcamp in Korea, has produced a cumulative total of over 7,000 graduates through the K-Digital Training (KDT) 'Sparta Tomorrow Learning Camp,' with more than 4,000 individuals having successfully transitioned their careers to date. The company offers 14 curricula covering all areas of IT, including AI, Unity, React, and UX/UI, and provides extensive career support after graduation through programs such as the 'Career-thon' employment support program, the 'Baro Intern' system, and opportunities to participate in outsourced development and game projects.
In the B2B (business-to-business) sector, Team Sparta conducted over 190 corporate training sessions last year. In Japan, the company is making significant investments to capture the corporate training market, estimated at approximately 5.5 trillion won, by offering various curricula to local IT and financial companies such as NEC and Seven Bank.
As of last year, Team Sparta's annual revenue and operating profit exceeded 60 billion won and 10 billion won, respectively, and it employs over 200 staff members. Going forward, the company plans to further advance its AI-based educational content, expand employment linkages for graduates, accelerate global expansion across Asia, and establish a virtuous cycle in education and industry through increased investment in research and development (R&D).
