National Gwangju Science Museum Nominated for "Korea SNS Awards"
The National Gwangju Science Museum announced on September 4 that it is holding a public voting encouragement event as the museum's SNS channels have been nominated for the "2025 Korea SNS Awards."
The Korea SNS Awards is an event hosted by the Korea Social Content Promotion Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT, among others. It comprehensively evaluates the SNS operations of companies and public institutions and recognizes organizations that actively communicate with the public.
Nominated for the first time this year, the National Gwangju Science Museum has effectively communicated science knowledge and programs to the public through various channels such as its blog, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and KakaoTalk.
In particular, the museum has attracted attention by releasing videos in which staff members appear to parody internet memes, as well as by organizing events to promote environmental protection in connection with major occasions such as Earth Day, Environment Day, and Energy Day.
