Woori Bank Offers AI-Based Voice Phishing Prevention "Real-Life Simulation" Training Service
Experiential Voice Phishing Prevention Training
Woori Bank Partners with Thinkpool to Protect Senior Customers
Woori Bank announced that it has partnered with Thinkpool, a company specializing in voice phishing prevention, to provide the AI-based experiential voice phishing prevention education service "Hamatteomyeon" through WON Banking.
This program is part of Woori Bank's efforts to strengthen customer safety by protecting financial consumers, particularly senior customers who are vulnerable to digital financial fraud.
The most notable feature of this educational service is that it goes beyond simple theoretical lectures by adopting a "real-life simulation" approach, allowing customers to experience scenarios as if they were actually receiving a voice phishing call.
Woori Bank customers can access the "Voice Phishing Prevention Service" menu within the Wonder Life section of the WON Banking app, where they can indirectly experience various fraud cases recreated by AI and subsequently learn the correct response methods through expert commentary.
Recently, voice phishing scammers have been precisely targeting customers' psychology through tactics such as impersonating police or prosecutors, offering tax or insurance refunds, and threatening with accidents or kidnappings involving children. As a result, it is difficult for senior customers to fully develop practical response skills through education that only involves reading or listening.
