"Boilers Now on Subscription"... Kyungdong Navien Launches Monthly Plans Starting from 10,000 to 30,000 Won
Regular Care Service Provided by "Navien Partners"
Kyungdong Navien has launched a boiler subscription product. For a monthly fee ranging from 10,000 to 30,000 won, customers receive free after-sales service (A/S) and an annual boiler expert care service.
On September 2, Kyungdong Navien announced the start of its boiler subscription service, aiming to provide comfortable heating and hot water year-round. Since boilers are often installed in inconspicuous places like utility rooms, they are easy to neglect. As a result, it can be difficult to detect performance degradation or minor malfunctions, and if a breakdown occurs, the inconvenience is significant as both hot water and heating become unavailable.
To address this, Kyungdong Navien plans to prevent malfunctions and performance issues in advance through regular expert care services, while also improving energy efficiency and user convenience. There are three subscription models in total: the Navien Condensing ON AI 'NCB753' and 'NCB553', which feature fast and ample hot water supply, and the reasonably priced condensing gas boiler 'NCB354'.
In particular, the 'Navien Condensing ON AI' is a boiler with significantly enhanced hot water functionality. By utilizing the 'Hot Water Ready System', users can access hot water in less than 10 seconds-93% faster than conventional boilers. Through its own subscription business, Kyungdong Navien is enhancing price competitiveness and consumer convenience. Rather than partnering with other rental companies, the company handles everything from subscription contracts to product care directly, providing high-quality service at a reasonable price.
During the subscription period, customers receive free A/S and regular care services from 'Navien Partners'. Once a year, a professional visits the customer's home to inspect the vent and alarm systems for safety, and measures the boiler's thermal efficiency. Additionally, the 'heating water filter', which removes foreign substances from the boiler pipes, is replaced, and the 'siphon', which discharges condensate and prevents the inflow of exhaust gases, is cleaned to keep the boiler performing at its best. Consulting is also provided on optimal hot water and heating usage and energy-saving methods tailored to the household environment.
After launching rental and care services for ventilation purifiers in 2023, Kyungdong Navien transitioned these to a subscription model this year, diversifying subscription periods and expanding offerings to include boilers, sleep mats, and kitchen appliances. The company has also established a wholly owned subsidiary, 'Kyungdong C&S', to strengthen care service expertise and further enhance consumer convenience.
