Sejong Tax Group Accelerates Strategic Appointments
On September 1, Sejong LLC (Managing Partner Oh Jonghan) announced that it has appointed Lim Sungbin, former Commissioner of the Seoul Regional Tax Office, as an advisor to the Sejong Tax Group.
Advisor Lim Sungbin graduated from Gyeongnam High School and the Department of Business Administration at Seoul National University, and entered public service after passing the 37th Higher Civil Service Examination. He has accumulated more than 32 years of experience in the field of tax administration. Advisor Lim has served as Director of Investigation Bureau 4 and Director of the International Transaction Investigation Bureau at the Seoul Regional Tax Office, as well as Director of Investigation Bureau 2. He has also built his career at the Investigation Division of the National Tax Service headquarters and Investigation Bureau 1 of the Jungbu Regional Tax Office. Advisor Lim also held positions as Director of the Corporate Taxation Bureau and Auditor at the National Tax Service. In 2020, he served as Commissioner of the Busan Regional Tax Office, and in 2021, as the 49th Commissioner of the Seoul Regional Tax Office.

The Sejong Tax Group has recently continued to make strategic appointments, including Advisor Lee Changhee, who is regarded as a leading authority in tax law; Advisor Kim Byungkyu, an expert in tax systems and tax appeals who previously served as Director General for Tax Policy at the Ministry of Economy and Finance and as a standing commissioner at the Tax Tribunal; and Foreign Attorney Jang Maria, who is well known as an expert in international taxation, customs, and trade.
