UNICEF Korea to Host Charity Marathon with KakaoBank in November
The Korean Committee for UNICEF (Chairman: Jung Gabyoung) announced on September 1 that it will host the eco-friendly charity marathon "Save Race 2025" in collaboration with KakaoBank to help children affected by the climate crisis. The event will take place on November 9 in the area around World Cup Park.
This year marks the second edition of the event, and it has been planned on a larger scale than last year. The number of participants to be recruited has increased by 2,000, and a total of 5,000 participants will be selected by lottery. Those wishing to participate can apply through the "Save Race 2025" event page within the KakaoBank app from 10:00 a.m. on September 1 to 6:00 p.m. on September 19. The winners can be checked on the KakaoBank app event page on September 26.
The full participation fee of 50,000 won per person will be donated under each participant's name to the Korean Committee for UNICEF. The funds will be used to support climate crisis response and provide aid to children in East Asia-Pacific countries such as Cambodia, Indonesia, and Thailand.
