A Festival for Pet Owners and Their Pets
Cheerful Pet Sports,
Health Clinics, and More at Daejeon Pet Park
A cheerful pet sports festival offering useful information and enjoyment for pet owners will be held in Daejeon.
Daejeon City will host the "2025 Daejeon Healthy Pet Festival" at Daejeon Pet Park on September 14, providing a venue for pet owners and their pets to enjoy and learn together.
The main highlight of the event is the cheerful pet sports festival. It features a variety of activities, including a healthy running competition, an agility experience competition, a "wait" game, a talent show, and a unique dog fashion show. Pet owners and their pets will form teams and participate directly in these events.
In particular, advance registration is required for the healthy running competition (100 teams), the unique dog fashion show (20 teams), and the agility experience competition (15 teams). Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the "Daejeon OK Reservation Service" from August 29 to September 12. For the "wait" game and the talent show, 100 teams and 10 teams respectively will be recruited on-site on the day of the event.
The pet health clinic is also expected to attract significant interest from citizens. Free expert consultations will be available, including veterinary health counseling (internal medicine, surgery, ultrasound diagnosis), zoonotic disease testing, behavioral problem counseling and correction, as well as lectures on pet etiquette and walking training.
A variety of additional programs will be offered at the event site. There will be a pet studio, industry exhibition booths, photo zones, on-site prize events, and a concert for pet owners and their dogs. Both indoor and outdoor playgrounds will be open, allowing pets to run and play freely.
