The Small Enterprise and Market Service was highly evaluated for several achievements: successfully concluding wage and collective bargaining agreements without disputes for ten consecutive years, holding communication meetings, strengthening employee capabilities through human resource development initiatives, improving working conditions, and achieving work-life balance.
In particular, labor and management representatives actively engaged in communication, with the head of the organization personally hosting a "Visible Radio" program and the labor union chairperson visiting workplaces for direct meetings. The organization also supported individual capability development by operating in-house certification classes and an artificial intelligence (AI) campus, and improved the work environment by relocating to a new office building to replace outdated facilities.
A variety of employee welfare programs were also implemented, including support for additional health checkup items, group insurance enrollment, in-house clubs, and access to recreational facilities. To promote work-life balance, the organization established a joint labor-management work-family council, reflecting its high proportion of employees with childcare responsibilities, and built a comprehensive support system covering all life stages from pregnancy preparation to child-rearing. Based on this, various flexible work arrangements have been introduced and are in operation, such as installing rest areas for pregnant employees, expanding infertility treatment leave to six days, and implementing a four-day workweek and intensive work system for pregnant employees.
