Previously, in March, the city compensated for about 65% of the total target land through the first round of negotiations. Once the second round is completed, the city plans to simultaneously apply for compulsory land acquisition for the remaining plots.
At the same time, the city is applying for approval of the implementation plan to expedite the process. The strategy is to achieve early sales results through investor briefings and customized marketing.
Once the implementation plan is approved, sales will proceed in phases. Residential land will be supplied first, followed sequentially by commercial, retail, and business sites, which is expected to speed up the securing of investment resources.
The Yeonhyangdeul urban development project aims to develop a total area of 488,000 square meters, with completion targeted for 2028. Through this project, the city is preparing to become a cultural and tourism hub in connection with Suncheonman National Garden.
